AI and MBSE: Meet Dr. Michael Jastram in 2025 at These 4 Events

In 2025, Dr. Michael Jastram will participate in at least four industry events as speaker. Reach out to meet him!

Meet Dr. Michael Jastram in 2025

In 2025, Dr. Michael Jastram will be actively participating in a number of events as keynote speaker or lecturer. Four events are already scheduled in the first half of the year, where you have a chance to meet him.

Dr. Michael Jastram is general manager and distinguished systems engineer specializing in agile product development, MBSE and AI technologies. With over 20 years of professional experience, including a Master’s degree from MIT and a decade working in the USA, Dr. Jastram has made significant contributions to the field.e shares his expertise through books, articles, talks, and as the organizer of the weekly blog Systems Engineering Trends.

Reach out to Michael to attend his lectures or to meet him in person. Read on to learn which four events are already scheduled to take place.

ReConf 2025

This lecture is an attempt to anchor the AI hype a little in reality. Dr. Jastram had already dealt with AI in systems engineering before the age of “before ChatGPT” and collected hard facts in over 100 stakeholder discussions. Since then, he has conducted further customer surveys and also participated in many public and non-public debates.

What he has noticed in particular is that many people are not aware that AI is a basic technology and not a product. This means that although AI will affect all aspects of systems engineering in the medium term, very few people will buy “AI”. Instead, AI will accelerate existing use cases and enable new products.

MESConf

Dr. Jastram explores how AI could help MBSE break out of its niche. While MBSE offers major benefits, adoption remains limited. AI is already streamlining engineering tasksโ€”could it also drive MBSE into the mainstream?

With SysML v2โ€™s standardized API, AI could continuously update models, detect inconsistencies, and suggest improvements, making MBSE more accessible. Real-world examples highlight AI-driven requirements analysis, formal reasoning, and integrated simulations. He will deliver this keynote on behalf of Raiqon AI.

MBSE Summit

Dr. Jastram will participate in the MBSE Summit, scheduled for June 2 and 3, 2025.his summit gathers experts from industry and academia to discuss advancements in model-based systems engineering. Dr. Jastram will lead an open space session focusing on the synergy between MBSE and AI, facilitating discussions on best practices, challenges, and future directions in this emerging area. An open space is a great setting to meet other participants (including Michael Jastram) and to discuss in a small focused group the challenges and ideas around AI and MBSE.

Throughout 2025, Dr. Michael Jastram continues to be at the forefront of systems engineering, sharing his knowledge and fostering innovation through these significant events. This is your chance to experience him and to meet him in person.

Too Late!

These events are already in the past:

Embedded World Conference

At the Embedded World Conference, held from March 11 to 13, 2025, in Nuremberg, Germany, Dr. Jastram will conduct a session titled “Practical SysML and MBSE: Basic Guidance for Engineers. This session aims to provide engineers with foundational knowledge in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), emphasizing practical applications in embedded systems development.

This is an intense class with a small number of participants, where you have the chance to meet Michael Jastram and to discuss your specific challenges regarding MBSE in an intense setting.
